I’ve seen some VIP’s on twitter bash Taeyang the last couple of days, and honestly I’m getting really tired of it. Just really bashing him over what his hair looks like at the moment, Taeyang loves his hair and sure, I loved when he had the mohawk but I actually think his hair looks nice right now, and I support whatever way he wants to look, and the rest of Bigbang. A different hairstyle shouldn’t change what they mean to you and I feel some VIP’s forget that when they insult him.
I’ve listened to Chris Brown’s song “Don’t judege me” countless times. Live and on his cd. But there is something heartbreakingly beautiful and powerful about Taeyang’s cover of it that he posted on his account. I listen to it all the time and everytime I stop to catch my breathe and get chills. Taeyang did it in one take. And I listen intenetly until I hear the door close at the end of the recording every single time. I’m sorry, Chris Brown, but I feel Taeyang remastered your song effortlessly.
I really hate it when other VIPs say that taeyang’s vocals on stage isn’t good enough. YG is the only company who doesn’t lip sync on stage. They sing with all their heart to us, and we show them love by complaining? True, taeyang’s vocals might not be as good as the others, but he is trying his best for us, same with all the members.
Criticism helps you grow. Criticism doesn’t mean insult though and people who say they are criticising are actually insulting or trying to mould people into their standards and expectations and then bashing and trying to justify why they should be the way they say. E.g. Taeyang being black/hiphop, a culture he feels he identifies with. A lot of the people complaining aren’t part of that culture to judge, whereas those who are like that their culture is being interpreted in a positive light.
